Donate to IMHO

While most people living in the US enjoy a world of plenty, 840 million people go hungry each year around the world. More than 1 billion people live on less than $1 a day, and 12 million people die each year from a lack of water. Over Donate to IMHO 30,000 children under the age of five die each day due to hunger and other preventable causes.

In Sri Lanka, 20 years of war has taken its toll on the health care infrastructure particularly in the areas of the North and East of the country. One measure to determine the health of a nation is the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), which is defined as the number of deaths of children during their first year of life. In 1985, the IMR for Sri Lanka was 24. Today, it has decreased to 15 per 1,000 live births. During the same time period, the IMR in the war-torn areas of Sri Lanka increased from 11 to 30 per 1,000 live births. For comparison, IMR in USA is 6.7 per 1,000 live births.

In order to help the people in the war-torn areas of Sri Lanka, IMHO needs your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to assist our organization in making a difference in the lives of people who need our help.

IMHO is a 501(c) 3 organization. Your donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
