Future Projects

1. Need funding for the operational cost for the three Primary Healthcare Centers (Koolavady,     Panchennai and Iyanakankulam) constructed and for all the specialty units built (Cardiology, GI and     Dialysis). The operational cost for each Primary Healthcare Center is US$ 1500 per month, which     includes free medication (on average it costs us US$ 1 per patient visit!).

2. Development of child and maternal health projects and help to decrease infant motality rate.

3. Advance the current Cardiology unit into an interventional cardiology unit.

4. Improve the oncologic services in the North-East Sri Lanka.

5. Advance the Surgical and Trauma facilities.

6. Facilitate and coordinate (at a national and international level) the visits of visiting health care     professionals to North-East so that their expertise is put to maximum use.

7. Work with our partners in other countries to complete the above projects and obtain funding from      international charitable foundations and foreign governments.
